I really liked Mary Roach's first book,
Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers, I mean who wouldn't be interested in a well written, humorous book about dead bodies? So I then looked forward to anything she would write since that book. Her second book,
Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife, though, didn't grab me as much. Her writing was just as funny and poignant and true-to-science, but I just wasn't as interested in the life after death as I was in corpses. Consider it a character flaw on my part. Her latest, book, though,
Bonk,... tell me, how could I not love it? Human copulation, as only Mary Roach could present it. A book that should be read by anyone that has sex or anyone that may consider doing so.
